Our Time On Earth

Time is the most important thing

We humans have on earth,

As it decrees the boundries

Wherein to prove our worth.

We hope and pray and estimate

But never know for sure

It ought to make us understand

This poem was sent to me a few years ago, but it goes along with what I've been thinking about today. Today a really good friend would have been 25 years old. Since his accident last year, I'm constantly reminded that we are NOT guaranteed a long life.

I never thought I would be a crochet-er. I always thought that was for "old" people :). But I bought a book that would show me how to do it. I get a little frustrated with it, because I can't do it perfectly, but I'm slowly, very slowly learning that not EVERYTHING has to be perfect. And when I'm crocheting I don't think about anything else, absolutely nothing. Which is good. I find myself thinking waaay far back, or waay into the future and it quite frankly stresses me out.

Christmas was very nice. I read about a family in CT, who moved there after the mother and father separated. The mother lived there with her 3 daughters. Her parents came to visit and spend Christmas with them. On Christmas morning the house caught fire and the grandparents and 3 girls were killed. I just kept thinking about how that mother must feel. And it made me thankful that I have both my parents, my grandparents, and my sister. And they are still here. But they won't always be. I find myself getting so caught up in work, or school, or whatever, forgetting that I have everything I could ever want or need. Of course there are always good and bad days, but I've been finding myself more content with my life. I have also been learning to tell people no, no I can't help them today, or no I can't go do this for them. I NEED some time to myself because it had gotten to a point, about a year ago, that I was soooo overwhelmed. I learned that for me to be the person I needed to be for everyone else, I needed to have time to myself. Time to relax, time to think, time to be alone.

On a different note, I have my classes all lined up for next semester. I'm taking anatomy (again...), photography, and political science. I'm definitely looking forward to it. I will be very glad when I don't have to go to school anymore. Anyway I'm going to enjoy this break while I've got it! :)

I'm so excited! I'm leaving to go to Albuquerque tomorrow and won't be coming back for a week! I'm excited to see family, friends, eat turkey, see my brand new baby cousin, and just RELAX. Did I mention Relax?! No homework, no school, no work for a WHOLE week! However, I will miss my Cairo, he's the baby I watch Monday through Thursday. I have to say I have become quite attached. I found my self giddy and excited to see him when I was driving home from the dentist. I couldn't wait to see his cute little face. However, when I got home he was very very upset. But a few bounces on the yoga ball and we were good to go! I have never been attached to a little human this much in my entire life, but I love it. There's something about babies that's just so peaceful, even when they're crying. Well, I'd better finish packing!

One day while they were here we went to the Bass Pro shops which is connected to the Silverton Casino/Hotel. At the Silverton they have an aquarium!

Dick and Margie took us to Red Rock for a drive and lunch. It's sooo beautiful up there. I had never been to this side of the canyon and it's amazing how different it looks.

It's been way too long since I posted last! It has been one busy summer and the beginning of what seems will be an even busier fall.

The summer started of with a convention, what better way?! Then work, work, work, then after weeks and weeks I finally saved enough money to make it to Saginaw I. I CAN NOT even begin to tell you how excited I was to get to go. It was nice to get away from work, and everything else for a week. for the first few days there weren't really and schedules, deadlines to meet, or anything like that. And it was soo nice to just sit on my bed or help out with what needed to be done and not have to worry about calling in for work or anything. It probably sounds pretty boring, but when life is busy, busy, busy all the time boring can be absolutely wonderful.

After convention, came registration for school. Which if any of you are in college, especially at CSN, you understand how frustrating that can be. But I got into both of the classes I needed! So this fall, I will take the TEAS exam for Radiation Therapy/Nursing. And next semester I will take two more Biology classes and political science. And HOPEFULLY start the program in the fall. I'm sooo excited to be so close, finally!

As far as work goes, I have been tutoring a girl in 2nd grade twice a week, which can be frustrating at times but I love it. And in October or November I will start babysitting a 3 month old baby boy at my house about 5 days a week. The remarkable thing is everything fits into my schedule perfectly!

We also had some company this summer from Australia and I will try to post pictures of that soon!

Last night my sister and I went to Spring mountain ranch, with Heidi and her kids and some other friends. We saw a play called The Drowsy Chaperone. I had a ton of fun. When you go out there it's cooler and you can leave life behind you for a few hours, which is just what I needed. I'm definitely going to go back again!

So for the past few months I have been stressing/fretting/worrying whatever you want to call it, about getting into Biology 223 (anatomy). The reason was, because of the way the timing was, if I didn't it would take me another year to finish my degree. I was not having that! So I logged onto the school website, just to see if by chance they added a new class or if people had dropped it or whatever. And GUESS WHAT?!?!?! They did. I enrolled and am all set to take that class in the fall, along with photography, political science and physics :). I'm not too sure about the physics class but we will see! I'm beyond thrilled because not only did I get ALL of the classes I wanted/needed, this means it WILL NOT take me an extra year to finish school. That's the best part. So after this fall semester I will have the spring of next year and ALL of my pre requisite classes for radiation therapy and for nursing will be done. I'm going to apply to both programs, most likely, and go with whichever one I get accepted into. HOPEFULLY I will get accepted into one of them. If I get into both I'm going with radiation therapy. :D

Summer has officially begun! According to the calander anyway. It seems like I look forward to a break from school and possibly work and then I fill my day with cleaning and working and all the good fun stuff. While in school, summer/winter/spring break only mean one thing, more WORK. There are some advantages however, one being convention(s). I've been to Casa Grande, and this Saturday my sister and I are going to head up to Riverton a few days early. I'm soooo excited, it's so beautiful up there in many different ways.

Well we thought we would most likely be moving this weekend, and we still might, but it's kinda looking like it might be next week. I don't mind waiting if I knew exactly when it would be! It's hard to pack stuff when you don't know how long you'll be without it haha. I'm working on a couple of sewing projects, well I have been for a while and they're almost done! I'm excited to have them finished. There's nothing quite like the feeling of finishing something :)

Life hasn't been very exciting lately (hence the lack of posts). I need to start packing because it looks like we may possibly move next weekend! School is finally out now and I won't have to worry about that until August. This gives me more time to work and go to conventions and other things too. It's nice to have one less thing to worry about. I'm VERY excited to go to conventions, it's my favorite time of year. I get to see friends I haven't seen for a while and maybe even make new ones.

The past few months have been pretty rough, I take that back the past year has been pretty rough. And with all the down days there were days of extreme joy. And which ones do I remember? The joyful ones of course. This made me realize that through sorrow and pain it's the joy within that that sticks out in our memories forever. I don't remember feeling sad, lonely or full of pain, I know I felt that way but I only remember feelings of joy, peace, comfort and love. The past two weeks have been the hardest and best weeks I've had in a long time. That hymn that says "joy and sorrow interwoven, love in all I see" has been running through my mind over and over again. These feelings of joy however far outway the feelings of sorrow and grief. Besides without these hard times how would we be thankful for the good times? Sometimes it's hard to be thankful for experiences that make you feel emotions you don't want to feel, but for myself I learn more from those than I do the easy experiences. I've also noticed if I dwell on what's going wrong then guess what?! I'm going to feel bad, but if I dwell on things that are good and make me happy then I will have joy. Lately every time I feel down I think of all that I have to be thankful for. All the friends who have been there for me whenever I've needed them for support or just companionship, this is what I think I am most thankful for. It's so wonderful to have those you can look up to as examples when you don't really know what to do. I'm thankful for parents that love me, a sister who loves me and granparents who also love me. I am also so thankful for workers that I can talk to about anything and will just listen to me when that's what I need. I've just been thinking about how I am as a person. What do people see? Am I a good example? Am I encouraging? Am I worthy to be looked up to? I want to be all of these things. In this part of my life where all seems to be changing all the time, it's nice to have peace and joy knowing that whatever happens it's ok. It's hard to allow that to be for me, because I seem to want to be in control of everything, and not being in control is sort of scary. But at the same time I know it's good that I'm not in control, because by now if I was things would be a disaster! I'm just filled with a feeling of overwhelming thankfulness, joy, peace and contentment.

That's the adjective that describes my life as of right now. Not saying it's not busy though!!! Just nothing amazingly excitingly wonderful haha. The past few weeks have actually been pretty rough and stressful, but I'm not going to let life get to me! School is going well. I got an 80 on my first biology test and a 90 on my first medical terminology test! I'm sooo glad it's going so well. It takes a little bit of worrying away. That's about all that's going on!

I have been thinking about what was said at Shane's funeral lately. Everyone I heard talking about him said that he was a man that lived for God. And that was so true.It just kinda made me wonder if the way I'm living portrays the same thing. Everyone seems to want to be a good leader and a good example, but the only way to do that is to be a follower of God and a doer of his will. I wonder what people see in me? Lately I have felt like I'm going in circles, not really headed in any direction for certain. This is hard for me, I like to know what's going to happen and even more than that I like to be in control and I'm not! I just want to be a person that people see as a follower of God.

Ironically having lived in Vegas for 9 years I have never learned to play poker. The place I learned was a small town in Oregon called Redmond. It was a lot of fun and of course there was no betting.

I'm sewing a skirt. I'm not very good at it but I want to learn and it was an easy pattern so we will see.

My trip was a blast!! It was sooo great to meet everyone and to see others I have met before. It was a real inspiration to me to see all of the kids up there, it makes me feel like I'm not alone, EVER! I loved it and everyone was so nice! I didn't even know most of them, but it didn't matter at all. I'm glad I went and will definitely have to make a tradition out of it.

3 Days!

I leave for Oregon in just 3 days! I worked 12 hours yesterday, will work 12 today and 8 tomorrow. Then I took Thursday off to be able to pack my things and do anything I need to do before I leave. Then Friday I will fly up to Bend for four days and come home Monday. I'm so excited!!!! I can't wait until at least Thursday and these long days are over. It wouldn't be as bad if I worked 12 hours straight but I work from 8 to 4 or 5 then have enough time to change and all that jazz then I work from 6:30 to 10:30, it sure makes for a long tiring day!

Health Goals

Daily

Eat around 1200 to 1600 calories a day, no more, no less.
Drink more water and less diet, caffeine free soda. (if you actually think about how it tastes it's pretty gross)
Walk/run/hike whenever I have the time.
DO NOT go to the store and buy ice cream that I say I'm only going to eat a serving of..it doesn't work.
Eat more fruits and vegetables as snacks instead of sweets.
Go to bed before 11pm, if possible.
Wake up in the morning before 8, if I don't I stay lazy the whole day.

Weekly

Walk/run/hike at least 3 times a week or more, for an hour each time.
Stick to healthy daily goals for the whole week.
Buy some weights so I can begin training again.

Monthly

I want to be able to run an entire mile or more again by the end of this month or the beginning of next month. I also want to stick to my daily and weekly goals for a month...it will be a first!

Yearly

By the end of this year I want to be able to RUN a 5k, not power walk or jog but RUN a 5k! There are a ton here in Vegas and I've always wanted to participate in one! I also want to see about some sort of trail running thing...we have a ton of trails here and I've always enjoyed hiking so what could be better than that?

I got a new camera last Saturday! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! It takes really clear pictures and the amount of detail it pics up is awesome. I can zoom in on something that's just one cm from the lens!!

These aren't the worlds best pictures...they were taken on my phone. On New Year's eve I had a babysitting job at the Bellagio and we were on the perfect side of the building. The children and I could see all the fireworks down the strip! It was AMAZING! I absolutely love fireworks and the kids really enjoyed them too. It made the trip to and from the Bellagio completely worth it!

This Post is kinda late. My sister and I went to the Bellagio with the workers in November! I forgot my camera so Tamara let me use hers, so it took a while to get the pictures. It was a lot of fun, the Bellagio is probably my favorite hotel here in Vegas. It's soooo beautiful. The garden and the fountains are amazing!

This is a post one of my friends posted on facebook. I really liked it. It's hard to be thankful for the hard and trying times in our lives, but they are the ones that make us stronger and they are the one's we learn the most from! God never said life would be easy, in fact he told us the opposite! However, he has shown that our trials, tribulations and struggles will be well worth it. In meeting tonight we heard that a new year is 365 new todays and that's exactly how I want to view this next year. The thought of a new year and all it can bring is frightening, exciting and could make a person panic, but if we/I take it one day at a time we can make it! Another thought that was shared was that if we were told last year on December 31st what last year would bring we probably wouldn't have believed it and would have felt that we didn't have the strength or nerve to face it. This is why we don't know the future, and we aren't guarenteed one either. I would just like to take each day for what it is and learn from it good, bad or indefferent.

NEXT Friday I will arrive in Bend/Redmond, my friend will pick me up I don't know what's going on after that except there's a sing that night. Then Saturday we hit the slopes...I will probably literally HIT the slopes haha. Sunday is special meeting in Bend. Monday I leave :(. But I am so happy I get to go!

I'm going to be buying a new camera! I have narrowed it down to these three options. I still need to go to a store to test them out to see which one I like the best! I have a canon right now and I love it, but I have heard and seen good things about/from Nikons too. All three are pretty similar each with 12 or 14 megapixels and 10x-15x optical zoom which is VERY VERY good! The best part...they are all under $300!!!! The Olympus has 30x zoom though and 12 megapixels!

I Thought I was on BREAK

Last week I worked 40 hours!!! It was tiring but completely worth it. This week I am working every single day, which means another 40 hour week. I am thankful, however, that I still get to make it to meeting. That's what I LOVE about this job I can work as little or as much as I want. I can take time off for convention or vacations whenever I want and then work like crazy for 3 or 4 weeks on a break to make up for it!.In 19 days I will be leaving for Oregon just for four days. I CAN NOT wait!

I officially started my new nanny job. I am on call which means the agency will call me with at least four hours notice for jobs. I've also been watching these little kids that a family I already babysat for knows. They're pre school is on the same schedule as UNLV so they have a 5 week Christmas break, so I'm babysitting them 2 to 3 times a week from 8 to 5, until break is over. Monday and Tuesday I worked 13 hours each and I worked 8 today. I have been so busy, I though it was a break! I'm busier now than I was during school. Tomorrow I'm making fudge, almond roca and peanut brittle! I've helped my grandma make candy before but I've never made it myself so I'm pretty stoked. I've got all my Christmas shopping done, just nothing wrapped. I can't until Saturday!!!

Yesterday I found out that my favorite science teacher in middle school was murdered by her drunk husband. I was almost ok with Hillary being gone, then this happened and it sent me spiraling down again. Why do people do things like this?! I didn't fall asleep until 4:30 am last night, then woke up at 8 am. I kept thinking about it and it scared me, and it made me angry and sad. I just don't get it...

   Last Friday I registered for my next semester classes. I have been soooo lucky that every time I get the classes I need! Biology 189 is the one I was worried about...it's a tough class to get into because a ton of people need it. But I got it! The only part of my schedule I don't like is that I have a medical terminology class at 5 to 5:50 every Tuesday night. It will take me longer to get to the school and back than it will for me to sit in class. I guess that's the way it goes though.
   I should be starting my nannying job soon. They still haven't scheduled an orientation for me to attend, and that's what I'm waiting on. So as of right now I am temorarily unemployed. I'm sort of in a job purgotory haha. I have enjoyed my time not working though, it's made things a little less stressful, well most things.
   I'm looking forward to special meeting in December. I also hope to get over to Shelter Valley for a few days to help out around there. I feel like if I am some day in the future, going to spend time there for convention, it's only right for me to help with the hard stuff!

A few weeks ago there was a giant thunder storm or rather a series of giant thunder storms. I, being the immature adult that I am, proceeded to jump, splash and run in the river like puddles until I was soaked! I had a blast! The parents of the neighborhood gave me funny looks while they called their kids in and scolded them for getting "dirty." My philosophy is that "dirt don't hurt" and water will wipe up.

   So...I have been slacking on updating my blog! Part of it is because I'm lazy and don't feel like sitting down, uploading pictures to my computer then uploading them again. It always seems to take forever, for some reason my computer won't automatically upload pictures I have to manually do it and it's a pain!
   School has been going well. I turned in a 6 page paper last week for my English 101 class. I hate writing a 2 page paper let alone a 6 page one! I guess in some long, boring, drawn out way it must teach me something...right? I want to start my classes later next semester because I don't like getting up so early, but every time I think about how it would play out it always ends up working better keeping my classes early!
   Today was my last day of work at the tutoring place. I'm sure going to miss those little kids! However, my boss said that if I'm available to work and she needs me she'll call me! One little boy came in with a present for me! He wanted me to open it while he was there, so I did. Then I asked if he wanted to help me unwrap it and he did. Pretty soon he was just unwrapping it while I watched. I didn't realize how much these kids meant to me until I had to tell them good bye. Their little faces got so sad and they didn't understand why I wouldn't be there anymore. It took everything I had not to say "nevermind, I'm staying." It's amazing how attached to people we get. One really nice thing is is my sister is going to work there now! One of the girls that already work there will take my spot and Crystal will take hers. So it works out great! I'm also going to miss my co workers alot! I suppose with all the moving around I've done I should be use to leaving friends behind, but I'm not. I still miss people like crazy, and wish I could see them all the time.
So I will try to get pictures up here some time tomorrow! :)

       I LOVE how everyone told me to be prepared that college would be like 30,000,475,009,226 times harder than high school anddd its not! Not one bit! It's sooo super easy, I mean I'm not that foolish freshmen who thinks it will always be this way, I know it won't be. It's just amazing! I love it, I'm able to be more independent and rely on ME most of the time rather than OTHERS for everything. This way if something doesn't get done it's my fault no one elses.
        I also love how I am ME again, I was sorta down in the dumps for a few months, I don't know why but I was and now I'm perfectly happy and obnoxiously crazy again. I'm also in the mood to clean, who knows why but I am, which turns out to be convenient because we have worker company next week! I'm soooo excited we have at least one worker every night for four nights! I'm sooo excited I just can't wait.
         So I was looking into moving out, just because I really feel like I need some space! But that's not going to work, so I kinda just need to suck it up and live with it for the next few years! I just can't wait to be my own person and not have to be responsible to or for anyone else for a little while and who knows maybe once I do move out I'll hate it haha! I suppose it's normal though for me to want to leave my parents house. I'm pretty sure if you asked any 18ish year old kid if they WANTED to move out they would say yes...it's just a matter of being able to.
         Well anyway I kinda need to take advantage of this freakish urge to clean!

Alot of things have happened lately that make me thankful for everyone I have ever met, whether it was just a quick hello in passing. If I haven't told you, I want everyone to know that I appreciate you and love all of you! Each and everyone has had some sort of impact on my life...good or bad. I feel like I don't talk to anyone as much as I should, and it's not because I don't want to. It just always seems like those people will always be there so why not talk to them later, when in reality there may not BE a later.

Teen Dies in Car Accident Coming Home From Reno

LAS VEGAS - Hillary Lavoie's parents say they'll miss her smile. "Her smile, just seeing her everyday, not being able to hug her," said Hillary's mother Tina Lavoie. "She has three siblings, and they can't wrap their heads around this. They don't understand why she was taken at such a young age."
Hillary died in an accident Sunday while returning home from Reno with two of her friends. The car she was in rolled over. Hillary wasn't wearing her seatbelt and was thrown from the car.
"I just have a hole in my heart, and I don't want anybody else to go through this," said Hillary's father Brian Lavoie. "If we can prevent one lost life, one lost teenager's life, just slow down, follow the rules of the road and wear your seatbelt. She was ejected from the car… It's so important that they follow the rules."
Hillary's Facebook page is flooded with posts remembering her. Her life was just getting started. Hillary turned 18 earlier this month and studied psychology at the College of Southern Nevada. She graduated from Shadow Ridge High School with honors in May. Classmates voted Hillary most spirited and homecoming queen. She was also a varsity cheerleader.
"She was funny. She was outgoing. She was everybody's best friend. She would do anything for anyone," said Tina Lavoie.
Ironically, Hillary's father didn't allow her to start driving until recently. He was worried about teens behind the wheel. A vigil is being planned for Sunday.

      Right now life is going...I'm in school full time and work part time! My classes are sooooo easy and I love it, I know it will get harder but I'm taking advantage of it while it lasts. I'm also thinking about changing my major, right now my major is nursing. I'm thinking about diagnostic sonography (ultrasound tech). The reason is is I never looked into anything else besides nursing and there is soo much out there! Right now I'm babysitting some super duper cute kids, a 1.5 year old boy and a 2.5 year old girl! They are really sweet and awesome kids! Tomorrow is a funeral for one of my elementary and middle school friends, she was killed in a car accident on Sunday. I don't know if I'm going yet or not, I didn't know the family and I hadn't seen her for years. It's hard enough thinking about it let alone actually going and seeing her...
         On a more positive note I have an interview on Tuesday! It's for this place where as a babysitter they will set me up with families either full or part time! I really hope they hire me because I would absolutely love that! This way I would just have to take care of the kids instead of making little kids who have just barely turned three try to do math or reading.
         Im starting a diet too!!! I really like it so far!

I have officially started college. It's alot more laid back than High School and so far I like it better too! My math and English classes are pretty boring, but they are necessary. I love my psychology and sociology classes, they are interesting to me. I also have 2 classes with my best friend, making those classes my favorite ones! I was excited to start school at 8 in the morning instead of 7, but in order to get a good parking spot I still have to get up at 5:30 to get ready and be there by 7:15 ish. My classes are also pretty small which is very nice! I'm going to try to post some pictures soon, but I'm not on my computer I'm on my parents...so I will do that when I get on mine :)

It feels strange being a big old college kid. I remember even in High School feeling like college was a world away! I just like the feeling that I am on my way to something great!

A Crazy Month

This month has been so busy. In December my dad's grandma passed away and then this month my grandpa also passed away. All this just makes you realize how little time we actually have with the ones we love. When I was little I never thought my family would someday not be there. I guess that's part of what makes being a kid sooo great. Every time a loved one dies it makes you wish you spent more time with them or called them more. In reality you don't realize this until it's too late. I guess I was just hoping my grandpa would be around to see me graduate from high school or even college. I just miss him and over time I will get over it I guess. I'm going to start spending the time I need and want to with the ones I love so much.

On another note I have a TON of make up work to do from our trip up to Montana for the funeral. I also have exams to make up, which I am not looking forward to. I'm excited that I am half way through my senior year!!! I'm so glad I can finally be done with all this high school stuff. After I graduate in June I am going to go to the community college and get my certificate to become a nurses aid. Then I will work as a CNA and go to school to get my ASN ( associates of science in nursing). And maybe someday get my bachelors degree or more. I'm excited and yet scared of all that is happening. I love that I can decide now what I want to do with my life, but the scary part is knowing that I am now basically accountable and responsible for my self. And knowing that I can do whatever I want is liberating.

SUNDAY: Today was pretty normal, as always. Went to meeting this morning then went to lunch with my grandparents and my great grandma. Then we came home and I haven't done much since except type up and essay and mess around on the computer. Tomorrow I have to go back to school and work.
MONDAY: Today was normal, like always. Went to school came home, got my sister from school then went to work. I've switched jobs too! I still work at the same place, but instead of being the receptionist I work with the little kids. I love it!!! They crack me up and they are sooo eager to learn.
TUESDAY: Today has been alright so far. Went to school this morning, then got a call from my mom right before the bell rang. She called me to tell me that my great grandma (who's visiting my grandparents) fell and broke her pelvis and her wrist. As far as I know she will be ok. She's 95 years old so this kind of thing takes quite a toll on here body. Well, I better go get my sister, then of to work!
WEDNESDAY: Well, this week is proving to be eventful, but not in a good way. My other great grandma ( on my dads side) passed away this morning. She was 91 years old. My other great grandma is doing better. Breaking her pelvis turns out to be better that if she would have broken her hip. With a broken hip surgery is required and at 95 that can be deadly. We went up to see her today and she seemed well. She slept alot, which is good because it allows her body to heal faster.
THURSDAY: Today was ok went to school , then work like usual. Except as soon as I came home I felt like I had been hit by a truck. My throat hurt, my body ached and I was extrememly weak. I woke up at about 1:30 am and I had a temperature of 101.8.
FRIDAY: I didn't go to school today because I still had a fever of 100.8. I stayed in bed and eventually felt quite a bit better. My sister and I went shopping for Special Meeting clothes and then we headed over to Keith and Linda's for supper. Then back to my grandparents, because my parents are out of town for my great grandma's funeral.
SATURDAY: Today Carrie and Michael came and picked my sister and I up to head over to St. George for Special Meeting. We got hotel rooms and went shopping at the mall. When we got back to the hotel my sister, Carrie and I went and took a dip in the hot tub! It was soooooo much fun! I also love how the hotel people put coffee makers in the bathroom! Well tomorrow is special meeting and I just can't wait!

MONDAY: Today was pretty boring, as usual. I got up, went to school and came home. Pretty soon I will leave to get my sister from school, then head off to work. I hope it isn't too busy today like it was last Thursday!
TUESDAY: Today was normal. I got to leave work 45 minutes early because it wasn't very busy. Tomorrow I'm going to make pies and pack. We are going to Fountain Valley, CA for Thanksgiving. We are going to come back Friday afternoon. I can't wait to see my family!
WEDNESDAY: Today I made five pies, cleaned and got ready to go to California. I'm so excited to see my family! I love Thanksgiving.
THURSDAY: Today I ate too much. I think I will need to run like 30 miles to burn all of it off. We all had a lot of fun just talking to eachother and helping make a spectacular meal. I am so thankful to have a family that loves eachother :)
FRIDAY: It was really hard to say good bye to everyone today, I wish we could have stayed a little longer. The ride home was pretty smooth, although there was quite a bit of traffic. I'm glad to be home and in my own house. I love this time of year. <3 style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">SATURDAY: Today we went over to Donna's house to celebrate her birthday while her brother was in town. We played games and ate alot of good food!!! It was a lot of fun. It also rained.
