A Crazy Month
This month has been so busy. In December my dad's grandma passed away and then this month my grandpa also passed away. All this just makes you realize how little time we actually have with the ones we love. When I was little I never thought my family would someday not be there. I guess that's part of what makes being a kid sooo great. Every time a loved one dies it makes you wish you spent more time with them or called them more. In reality you don't realize this until it's too late. I guess I was just hoping my grandpa would be around to see me graduate from high school or even college. I just miss him and over time I will get over it I guess. I'm going to start spending the time I need and want to with the ones I love so much.
On another note I have a TON of make up work to do from our trip up to Montana for the funeral. I also have exams to make up, which I am not looking forward to. I'm excited that I am half way through my senior year!!! I'm so glad I can finally be done with all this high school stuff. After I graduate in June I am going to go to the community college and get my certificate to become a nurses aid. Then I will work as a CNA and go to school to get my ASN ( associates of science in nursing). And maybe someday get my bachelors degree or more. I'm excited and yet scared of all that is happening. I love that I can decide now what I want to do with my life, but the scary part is knowing that I am now basically accountable and responsible for my self. And knowing that I can do whatever I want is liberating.
