I'm reading this book "A Child Called It" it's a true story about one of the worst cases of child abuse in California. I don't understand how parents could treat their kids that way. I won't give too much away, if you want to read it, but the mother doesn't feed the little guy or make sure he's clean. It's a pretty good book though...
